Learn the art of matching fromage to boutique boissons in our series of masterclasses with Milk the Cow's Brand Ambassador
Laura Lown and an ever-changing lineup of experts.

In a series of guided flights, these 45-minute sessions cover the stories behind some of France's most famous and populaire exports. Each Masterclass includes four tastes of boutique beverages and four cheeses on Milk the Cow's signature flight boards.

FRIDAY 2PM

Explore the enigmatic Rhône Valley region where vines were first planted in around 600 B.C. 

Maison M.Chapoutier has a longstanding history in the region and their experts will be on hand to introduce us to four of their appellations, as Laura Lown matches each to it's perfect French cheese match.

SUNDAY 3.30PM

We traverse the countryside of France, beginning in Paris and making our way down south to Provence... via Burgundy of course. Red + White introduce us to four of their wines we can find along the way as we meander, while Milk the Cow makes the most of terroir matching with cheeses from nearby cheesemaking regions. 

aperitif à digestif: boissons et fromage for before & after dining with spirits of france 

FRIDAY 6PM

The art of preparing yourself to eat, and finishing a meal on the perfect note. Spirits of France introduce us to some beautiful liqueurs and cognacs from their portfolio - two perfect as an aperitif before you dine, and two for après.

Each will be paired with an artisan cheese by Milk the Cow in this guided masterclass.

SATURDAY & SUNDAY 10.30AM

There are many ways to pair wines and food, and the art of contrasting and complementing flavours are two of the classics. Come on a tasting adventure as cheesemonger Laura Lown matches Paul Louis French Sparkling to four different cheeses to show you just how different flavours marry in different ways on the palate.

The juicy, fruity, delicate flavours of traditional French ciders are a wonderful complement to cheese. Enjoy a refreshing flight of four artisan ciders and learn how to pair them each perfectly to four different cheeses.
